The hidden load

You may be carrying more than people can see.

You may look like you are coping: working, caring, replying, organising, helping, planning and keeping things moving. But inside, it can feel very different.

Your mind may not switch off. Your body may stay on alert. You may question yourself, carry more than people realise, or feel disconnected from yourself.

This does not mean you are broken. It may mean your system has been trying to manage too much, for too long, without enough space to be understood.

Support may help if...

Something in you has been asking for things to feel different.

You do not need to know exactly where to begin. Many people start with a feeling that life looks manageable from the outside, but feels heavier on the inside.

Your mind rarely feels quiet

You replay conversations, anticipate problems, plan what to say, or find yourself thinking through every possible outcome.

Your body feels on alert

Even when nothing obvious is wrong, you may feel tense, restless, unsettled, or unable to fully switch off.

You question yourself often

You may seem capable to others, but inside you second-guess decisions, worry about getting things wrong, or feel not good enough.

Emotions feel hard to manage

You may feel too much, shut down, become tearful, irritable, anxious, or criticise yourself for reacting the way you do.

You are tired of holding everything together

You keep going, supporting others and meeting expectations, but the cost inside is becoming harder to ignore.

You do not feel fully like yourself

You may feel distant from your confidence, energy, identity, or the person you remember yourself being.

Neurodiversity-aware and inclusive

Support should not expect everyone to process life in the same way.

Some people need more structure. Some need more time. Some find open-ended questions overwhelming. Some have spent years masking, adapting, rehearsing conversations or trying to appear fine.

You may be diagnosed, self-identifying, exploring neurodivergence, or simply aware that the usual advice has never quite fitted. I adapt support with respect for different ways of processing emotion, pressure, communication and change.

How support may help

Reset. Rebuild. Reconnect.

The work is not about forcing yourself to be different. It is about understanding what has been happening beneath the surface, then gently creating more space, steadiness and choice.

Reset

Reset your system

When your mind and body have been on alert for too long, calm can start to feel unfamiliar. Support can help you slow things down, understand your responses and practise steadier ways to settle.

Rebuild

Rebuild self-trust

Self-doubt can grow quietly when you have spent a long time questioning yourself, masking how you feel or trying to get everything right. Together, we can work on confidence, boundaries and a kinder inner response.

Reconnect

Reconnect with yourself

When life has been heavy, busy or emotionally demanding, you may lose touch with what you need, want or feel. Support can help you reconnect with your own voice, values and sense of self.

Change does not have to mean becoming someone else. Sometimes it begins by feeling safer to be yourself again.
The InnerSentia way

Thoughtful support for the parts of the story that are not always obvious.

The difficulty you notice first is rarely the whole story.

Anxiety may be connected with pressure, uncertainty or a body that has learned to stay alert. Self-doubt may be connected with criticism, perfectionism or the need to feel acceptable. Overthinking may be trying to prevent conflict, mistakes or rejection. Feeling stuck may involve one part of you wanting change while another part tries to keep things familiar.

In my work, I pay attention to the wider pattern — not so you can analyse yourself endlessly, but so there is more room for choice, steadiness and meaningful change.

Curiosity over judgement

A response that feels frustrating now may once have been protective, adaptive or understandable. We begin by asking why something may have developed, not by treating it as a flaw.

Consent and clarity

You should understand what is happening in the session. Techniques are explained, agreed and adapted. You can ask questions, pause, say no or take time.

Respect for pace

You do not have to rush, perform or disclose everything at once. The work moves at a pace that respects your comfort, capacity and goals.

Practical change

Insight matters, but it is not the whole picture. Support should help life outside the session: steadier responses, more self-trust and more choice in everyday moments.

About Me

A calm, thoughtful presence for the things that are hard to explain.

I am Kamila, the therapist behind InnerSentia Therapies.

My work is shaped by the belief that people are not problems to be fixed. Often, the patterns people struggle with began as ways to cope, protect themselves, avoid criticism, maintain connection or get through difficult moments.

Those patterns may not feel helpful now, but they usually make sense when they are understood in context. I bring together psychology-informed understanding, clinical hypnotherapy and NLP to support people experiencing overwhelm, anxiety, self-doubt, emotional exhaustion and disconnection from themselves.

My approach is gentle, collaborative and goal-oriented. I am not here to push you to become someone else. I am here to help you understand yourself more clearly, build steadier responses, and move towards change that feels meaningful and realistic.
